Terms of Service

Please read these terms carefully before using Maeen's services.

Last updated: October 2026

1. Acceptance of terms

By visiting the Maeen website, using our services, or engaging us under a quote or contract, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. If you do not agree with any part of them, please do not use the site or the services.

2. Description of services

Maeen provides website development, mobile apps, business systems, brand identity, digital marketing and support services as described on the services page.

The scope, deliverables and timeline of each project are defined in the quote or contract signed by both parties, and that scope governs the work.

3. Quotes and payment

Quotes are free of charge and remain valid for 30 days from their date unless stated otherwise.

Payment follows the schedule agreed in the quote, typically an upfront payment to start work and milestones tied to delivery. Work begins after the upfront payment is received.

Prices do not include hosting, domains, paid licenses or advertising unless the quote explicitly includes them.

4. Client responsibilities

The client cooperates with us and provides content, information, media and access credentials by the agreed deadlines.

The client confirms they own the rights to the materials they provide and that these materials do not infringe the rights of others.

Delays in providing requirements may affect delivery dates, and milestones may be rescheduled accordingly.

5. Timeline and delivery

We set a realistic timeline for each project after understanding the requirements and deliver the work in agreed milestones.

A project is considered complete when the agreed requirements are met or when the client approves the final delivery.

6. Revisions

Each quote includes an agreed number of revisions within the defined milestones. Revisions beyond the agreed scope are handled under a separate agreement or at additional cost.

7. Intellectual property

After full payment, ownership of the final design and the custom code delivered to the client transfers to the client.

Maeen retains ownership of its tools, frameworks and reusable components, and may reuse general knowledge and skills gained during the project.

Maeen may feature the project in its portfolio unless the parties agree otherwise in writing.

8. Confidentiality

We treat client and project information with complete confidentiality and do not share it with any third party without the client's consent or a legal requirement.

9. Limitation of liability

We apply reasonable professional care to ensure the quality of our work, but our services are provided as is, without warranties beyond those stated in the contract.

Maeen is not liable for indirect, consequential damages or loss of profits arising from the use of delivered products or service interruptions.

Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the project in question.

10. Post-launch support

Ongoing maintenance and technical support can be agreed under a separate support contract covering updates, backups and fixes within the agreed scope.

11. Termination

Either party may end the project with written notice, and the client remains responsible for paying for work completed up to the termination date.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by and interpreted under the laws of the Republic of Sudan, and the Sudanese courts have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

13. Changes to these terms

Maeen may update these terms from time to time. Publishing the updated version on this page counts as sufficient notice. Continued use of the site or our services after publication means you accept the updated terms.
